Blackfish Labs

A place where ideas get built.

Software, hardware, and things in between. Some will work. Some won't. Both stay here.

For a long time, the distance between having an idea and holding the thing was mostly technical. You needed a team, a budget, and years.

That wall got a lot thinner. What one person can finish alone today is an order of magnitude beyond what it was a few years ago.

Blackfish Labs exists to use that window while it's open.Blackfish Labs

What we do我们做什么

Small, focused apps for phone, tablet and web. Each one does a narrow job completely, and is maintained for as long as people use it.
The current focus. Software that makes you produce — say it, write it, answer it — instead of only consume, and that tracks what you have actually mastered rather than what you have seen.
Hardware, tools and prototypes that may never leave the lab. They are listed here once they are far enough along to have a name, and marked honestly when they stop.

Listen. Respond. Leap forward.

A graded English course for adult learners that only moves forward on evidence. Every lesson is a real-life scene: listen, respond out loud, get checked, then practise exactly what you missed. The home screen always knows your next task, a course map shows where you stand across eight levels, and spaced review brings back what is due.
